The Carlsbad Fire Department Foundation will host its 7th Annual Golf Tournament at the Aviara Golf Club in Carlsbad. In the past five years, the tournament has raised over $75,000. Our goal for the tournament this year alone is $75,000 as we have upgraded our venue, prizes, and auction items to make this possible. Proceeds from the tournament will be used to support the mission of the Foundation to
supplement and enhance basic fire and rescue services, and to support public outreach, safety education
programs, and to provide scholarships to dependents of firefighters.
Rescue Water Craft
Rescue water craft are an integral component of lifeguard and water rescue operations. These vessels allow for rapid deployment and effective access to the ocean and inland waterways and increase the effectiveness and safety of our personnel in dangerous conditions. The versatility and agility of the craft make them ideal for a program like Carlsbad’s with varying seasonal water conditions and staffing levels.
The safety and wellbeing of our players and guests is our top priority for this event. The foundation is monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely, keeping those who are affected in our hearts, and listening carefully to the questions and concerns we receive. We ask that facemask be worn at all social times during the event except while playing or sitting down to eat. There will be sanitizing stations and social distancing indicators throughout the event locations.
We will keep you updated with any changes in regards to the event here.
